I want to tell you a romantic story that has happened with grandmother of my best friend Logan. Her name is Rosalinda, but everyone calls her Rose. There was a time when Rose was a young and very beautiful girl from respectful family. Her parents were afraid of for their daughter’s destiny, for her future. They were afraid of that some guy could break her heart or draw her into bad story. And that to avoid this parents wanted she get marriage for a guy from another respectful family. But Rose didn’t like this idea. She was too young to get marriage. And she has never seen the guy before. What if he would be ugly, fat and boring? But her parents have decided everything already. Every summer during two weeks Rose worked as a volunteer. She was a member of volunteer organization for students. Her parents were very proud of their daughter’s participation in social problems. That summer she went to Malta. Her parents said her that after returning from trip she would get marriage. Rose went to neighboring continent with a great pleasure, but she didn’t want to come back. There in Malta she got acquainted with a guy. He was American and he was a new member of the organization. He was gallant, polite and delicate, a real gentleman. His name was Mark. During two weeks they were always together. In the first part of the day they worked and evening they spent walking about a town and talking about everything. She came under a spell of Mark and she forgot about her forthcoming wedding. Now her unwillingness to get marriage became stronger. But two weeks have past and she had to leave the country and to say goodbye to Mark. When she has come back from the trip her parents arranged a dinner with the family of her new husband. When Rose went downstairs and entered a living room she saw a familiar face. It was Mark, her Malta’s friend. She couldn’t believe her eyes. After a week the young couple got married and since they still live together in piece.
